Events Hosting ClassificationThis Events page lists the US Disabled Sailing Events hosting Classification for American Disabled Atlhetes. The disabled athlete is require to have a current Paralympic Quadrennium US Disabled Sailing assigned Class and Status to participate in some of the events listed below.
You will not be "Eligible to Compete" at the US Disabled Sailing National Championships in Galveston in October if you do not have a current Paralympic Quadrennium Class and Status assigned by a US Sailing Certified National Classifier. You must also pay the US Disabled Sailing Master List Administration Fee.
Master List Administration Fee:There is no charge for the Functional Assessment provided by US Sailing National Classifiers. US Sailing charges a one-time per Paralympic Quadrennium Master List Administration Fee of $50. This fee will be paid on-line at the disabled sailing event at the time of Classification. The athlete may use any available Internet access port to connect with the Regatta Network US Sailing Fee Payment Form. Disabled Sailing Organizing Authorities and Event Planners should review section C2.4 of the US Sailing Functional Classification System Manual 2013-2016 that outlines the needs of Classifiers at your events. You may review Section C2.4 of the US Sailing FCS Manual by clicking here.
The US Disabled Sailing Classifier Committee and the Event Organizing Authorities offer Classification at the following events through December 2014.

If you intend to offer Classification at your Regatta, please contact the US Disabled Sailing Classifier Committee as early as possible to facilitate scheduling and logistics. Please review the "Event Requirements for Classifiers" section C2.4 of the US Disabled Sailing Functional Classification System and Procedures Manual 2013-2016.
